Actor Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation has launched electric bicycles in India, priced at Rs 40,000 for the base variant and Rs 57,000 for the top-spec variant. Just like any other e-cycle, this one too doesn’t require a licence to operate.
These bicycles offer a range of 30 km with a top speed of 25 km/h. If the cyclist feels exhausted or needs help climbing a steep incline, a small electric motor can be activated with a button located on the handlebar.
Being Human E-Cycles is headed by former Suzuki Motorcycles India EVP Atul Gupta.
