Toyota is all set to bid goodbye to the A90/5th-gen Supra with the GR Supra A90 Final Edition. Also on offer is the GR Supra Lightweight Evo. These two models are confirmed to be available to order in Europe starting in January 2025, while the Japanese might get the Final Edition a li’l later in 2025. The GR Supra A90 Final Edition is limited to 300 units globally.

The GR Supra A90 Final Edition comes painted in matt black. Plus, it comes with generous aerodynamic elements—which are wind tunnel tested by the Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe (TGR-E) team. These aero bits include a carbon-fibre front spoiler, carbon-fibre front canards, and a GR Supra GT4-style carbon-fibre swan-neck rear wing. The carbon-fibre duct on the bonnet features a removable inner element for extra cooling. The adjustable KW suspension features 16 rebound and 12 compression stages for agile road holding in a variety of conditions.

Other key highlights include adjusted camber angle for cornering improvements, model-exclusive optimized electric power steering, body reinforcement braces including a strengthened crossbar in the rear luggage space, strengthened front and rear stabilizers, lightweight wheels (19-inch front and 20-inch rear) wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, 19-inch Brembo front brakes, RECARO Podium CF full-bucket seats, red seat belts, and extensive Alcantara lining.

The BMW B58 straight-six turbo petrol engine offers 320 kW (435 metric hp) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft); you get 70 kW (95 metric hp) and 70 Nm (52 lb-ft) more. The power output is the same as that of the Supra GT4. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. The top speed is up by 20 km/h (12 mph) to 270 km/h (168 mph), thanks to a low-back-pressure catalyst. The Akrapovič titanium muffler further enhances the driving experience.

Buyers in Europe will get the option of the GR Supra Lightweight Evo as well. This is not to be confused with the GR Supra GT4 EVO race car. The Lightweight Evo is not as hardcore as the Final Edition but features a revised camber angle on all wheels, strengthened rubber bushings for the front control arms, strengthened rubber mounts for the rear sub-frame, a stronger under-body brace, a ducktail carbon fibre rear spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, optimized electric power steering, and 19-inch matte black wheels.
