The best part is that it is still available with a manual.
In addition to the regular 3 Series Sedan and Touring, BMW has updated the M3 models as well, with prices in Germany starting at €94,200 for the M3 Sedan and €106,300 for the M3 Touring. All prices include a 19% VAT.

What’s new you ask? Well, there are redesigned headlight internals with claw-like vertical running lights, new forged light-alloy wheel designs in a staggered setup (18-inch front and 19-inch rear for the sedan, and 19-inch front and 20-inch rear for the estate), a redesigned M3 badge with a silver border, and.. I guess that’s pretty much it. I mean, what more do you need to change in such a short period anyway? Adaptive LED headlights with matrix high beam function are optionally available. As before, a CFRP roof comes standard on the sedan. An M Carbon exterior package is available if you want to decorate your car with more carbon fibre.
The Touring doesn’t get a CFRP roof, but it gets a high-gloss black roof as standard. But anyway, the adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers comes standard. M Compound brakes are standard, while the M Carbon ceramic brakes are an optional extra; the latter offer 14 kg (31 lbs) weight savings.
Both models continue to be powered by a 3.0L straight-six biturbo petrol engine that offers 353 kW (480 metric hp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) for the M3 Sedan (6-speed manual). If you consider the M3 Competition Sedan, the figures are 375 kW (510 metric hp) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). No changes here whatsoever. However, if you opt for the M3 Competition M xDrive (AWD), you get 15 kW (20 metric hp) more, thanks to the optimized configuration of the digital engine control unit (DME). The peak torque of 650 Nm is now available until 5,730 rpm (up from 5,500). The 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) sprint times of AWD models are claimed to be 0.5 seconds quicker.
Inside, the new M3 models benefit from the updates/upgrades done to the regular 3 Series models, such as the 8.5 OS version for the displays, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, new central air vents, and new upholstery materials and colors. The photos here showcase the optional electrically adjustable and heated M Carbon bucket seats.
