Chevrolet has updated the Trailblazer subcompact crossover for the U.S. market for 2024 with styling revisions and upgraded onboard tech. Pricing and availability information are yet to be revealed, but you might wanna check with your local dealer on the same. The trim lineup for 2024 will continue to be LS, LT, Activ and RS.
The 2024 Trailblazer boasts a sharpened and tightened front fascia with redesigned running lights, headlights, grille, and of course, the bumper as well. The photos above showcase the Trailblazer Activ trim, and there are no changes on the side profile; the wheel design also remains the same. At the rear, you get redesigned taillight internals with U-shaped light signatures. Two new colors join the palette: Copper Harbor Metallic and Cacti Green.
As for the 2024 Trailblazer RS, well, in addition to incorporating the styling revisions mentioned above, it gets dark elements as usual, but for 2024, you get a new set of swirly 19-inch wheels as well. Do note that the two-tone paint schemes are available on Activ and RS trims.
Things look significantly different on the inside, thanks to a new dashboard design that houses an 8-inch driver display and a 11-inch central touchscreen side-by-side as standard. These are probably the same units we saw in the 2024 Buick Encore GX recently. Push-button start, cruise control and HD Rear Vision Camera are now standard across all trims. The rest of the features such as wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot capability are carried over from the outgoing model. Wireless smartphone charging is optionally available on LT, Activ and RS trims.
Standard ADAS includes Automatic Emergency Braking; Front Pedestrian Braking; Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning; Following Distance Indicator; Forward Collision Alert, and IntelliBeam auto high beam control. Adaptive Cruise Control is an optional extra.
There are not gonna be any mechanical changes. The Trailblazer Activ and RS trims are powered by a 1.3-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine as standard, offering 115.5 kW (155 bhp/157 metric hp) and 236 Nm (174 lb-ft) of torque. The FWD variants are coupled with a CVT while the AWD variants boast a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The LS and LT trims are powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine as standard, offering 102 kW (137 bhp/139 metric hp) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque, coupled with a CVT. The 1.3L with 9-speed auto and AWD is optionally available on all trims.
