The Škoda Enyaq iV lineup is now joined by the sporty Enyaq RS iV. For those scratching their heads, the RS model we saw earlier this year was the Enyaq Coupé RS iV, which means this is a non-coupe, regular SUV. Pricing and availability information are yet to be disclosed, but in the meantime, let’s have a brief look at the new model.
Except for the non-coupe roofine and rear-end, the Enyaq RS iV looks exactly the same as its coupe sibling, obviously. The front fascia with that sporty bumper design is identical, as are the wheel design and the black elements. The Enyaq RS iV gets the roof rails that are missing in the coupe. As standard, the Enyaq RS iV rides on 20-inch Taurus wheels, while anthracite-colored 21-inch Vision wheels are optionally available. A panoramic sunroof is also an optional extra. However, you get standard sports suspension that lowers the body by 15 mm at the front axle and 10 mm at the rear axle. You also get Matrix LED headlights as standard.
It’s the same story on the inside. You got RS-branded heated sports seats with integrated headrests; RS-branded flat-bottom steering wheel; carbon fibre-like inserts; green contrast stitching and accents, and a generous application of Suedia microfibre. The optional Design Selection RS Suite offers black perforated leather seat upholstery with grey piping and contrast stitching, which is also found on the steering wheel. A 3-zone climate control, LED ambient lighting, and a Phone Box for inductive smartphone charging, are all included as standard. Naturally, the rear occupants get more headroom here.
The rest of the things are the same as the Enyaq Coupé RS iV. The Enyaq RS iV packs a dual-motor AWD powertrain, offering combined figures of 220 kW (299 metric hp) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft). Its 82 kWh battery pack is claimed to offer a WLTP range of over 500 km (310+ mi). The official 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time is 6.5 seconds and the top speed is 180 km/h (112 mph).
