You probably remember seeing the Novitec Ferrari SF90 Stradale a few months ago. Now though, it’s time for the Spider version to get “refined” by Novitec. Speaking of which, the so-called refinements include a naked-carbon aero kit and performance upgrades.
It’s a similar exercise to that of the Stradale. The aero kit includes an extended front spoiler with detachable side sections; fender louvers; rocker panels on the side; mirror caps; a large ducktail rear wing, and of course, a carbon rear diffuser. The car rides on Vossen-made forged wheels measuring 21-inches at both ends. Different wheel options are also available, of course.
Buyers can also opt for Novitec sport springs that lower the ride height by 30 mm at the front and 25 mm at the rear axle. A front lift system is also available that can raise the front of the car by 40 mm.
As for the juicy bits of the story, Novitec combines ECU tweaks with a high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts, which deliver an extra 80 kW (109 metric hp), bringing the total to 815.5 kW or 1,109 metric hp. There are different options for the exhaust system as well, including with or without an electronic sound management system; the former features actively controlled butterfly valves. Novitec claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 2.4 seconds, same as what it claimed for the Stradale.
