BMW-owned marque Mini has launched the second generation MINI Clubman in India at Rs 37.90 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. It’s the first time the Clubman is being introduced in India and is brought via the CBU route.
The Clubman Cooper S packs a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The Gentleman’s car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds and maxes out at 228 km/h. Fuel efficiency is claimed at 13.8 km/l. Exterior features include LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED taillamps, LED fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, and more.
On the inside, the Clubman features a leather-clad sport steering wheel, sport seats, a 6.5-inch infotainment system, lights package, a parking assistant, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), dual-front airbags, ABS, Brake Assist, and some more. The car offers 360 litres of boot space which can be expanded up to 1,250 litres and can be opened by foot gesture.
