Chrysler is bidding goodbye to the iconic Chrysler 300 nameplate with the 2023 Chrysler 300C—limited to 2,000 units for the U.S. market and 200 for Canada. Order books are open now with an MSRP of US$ 55,000. Deliveries are estimated to commence in spring 2023. Production will end following the 2023 model year.
On the exterior, the 300C is decorated with a special badge on the dark front grille, and as you can probably tell, there are dark chrome accents all around, including on the grille and the lower fascia. The special model rides on 20-inch forged wheels wrapped with all-season performance tires. The wheels hide red-painted Brembo calipers. Three exterior colors are available for the 300C: Gloss Black, Velvet Red and Bright White.
Inside, the front seats are upholstered with black Laguna leather featuring an embossed 300C logo and silver contrast stitching. The silver contrast stitching can also be found on the door panels and on the dashboard as well. Carbon fibre and piano black accents are some of the other highlights on the inside. An 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity are also part of the package.
As mentioned in the title, the 300C packs a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine that pumps out 362 kW (485 bhp/492 metric hp) and 644 Nm (475 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The official 0-60 mph (96.5 km/h) time is 4.3 seconds and the top speed is 160 mph (257 km/h). A 3.09 limited slip differential, active damping suspension, and an active exhaust system are some of the other key highlights.
