The second-gen Acura TLX, especially the TLX Type S variant is getting a special PMC (Performance Manufacturing Center) Edition—planned for production later this year. Order books will also open later this year. But in the meantime, Acura is previewing the car in three NSX-derived colors: Curva Red, 130R White and Long Beach Blue.
Besides the special colors, other key highlights of the TLX Type S PMC Edition include Berlina Black roof, Berlina Black door handles, a carbon fibre bootlid spoiler, a carbon fibre diffuser, black-chrome quad exhaust finishers, gloss black badging, side sill garnish, and NSX-inspired Y-spoke 20-inch lightweight wheels painted in a copper color.
Inside, the TLX Type S PMC Edition features illuminated Type S door sills, carbon fibre accents, Type S-branded premium floor mats, a flat-bottom heated steering wheel, and a PMC Edition numbered serial plaque. And BTW, the Curva Red-painted car will have Ebony-themed interior, 130R White with Red-themed interior, and Long Beach Blue will be combined with Orchid-themed interior.
