Hyundai India has launched the 2022 Venue facelift in the country, with prices starting at INR 7.53 lakh, ex-showroom, PAN India. As before, the new Venue offers a big list of trim options that include both petrol and diesel powertrains. Prices below are ex-showroom and in INR:

As the above table suggests, there are 11 petrol and 5 diesel variants to choose from, including 3 dual-tone petrol and 2 dual-tone diesel options.
Key exterior features depending on the trim include LED projector headlights, cornering lamps (besides the LED projector), ORVM-integrated puddle lamps, connected LED taillights, 16-inch Diamond-cut alloy wheels, and an electric sunroof.
The refreshed interior features an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, Amazon Alexa connectivity (home to car), digital instrument cluster, auto AC, air purifier with a display on the centre armrest, 4-way power driver seat (claimed to be 1st in the segment), 2-step reclining 60:40 split rear seats (claimed to be 1st in the segment), wireless smartphone charging pad, and more. As for safety systems, you get two front airbags, side & curtain airbags for SX (O), ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, ESC, Hill Assist Control, TPMS, a rearview camera, a rear defogger with timer, and a few more. Except for the entry-level E trim, the rest also get automatic headlight function.
Moving on to the juicy bits of the story, the powertrain options remain unchanged from the pre-facelift model. Petrol buyers can start with a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated unit that offers 61 kW (83 metric hp) and 114 Nm (84 lb-ft) of torque. This engine comes paired only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Those who want more, can pick the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit that pumps out 88 kW (120 metric hp) and 172 Nm (127 lb-ft) of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed iMT (clutch pedal-less manual) or a 7-speed DCT.
Diesel buyers just have one option in the form of a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged unit, offering 73.5 kW (100 metric hp) and a healthy 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. This engine comes paired with a traditional 6-speed manual gearbox. As before, there’s no AWD on offer with any of the above powertrains. Do note that the Venue doesn’t offer AWD in any of the markets it is on sale.
