Toyota is offering a new SX Package on the 3rd generation Tundra in the U.S. market, available exclusively on entry-level but one SR5 grades. The package changes nothing mechanically but adds visual enhancements.
Speaking of which, buyers get to choose from four exterior colors: Magnetic Gray Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic and Midnight Black Metallic. Regardless of which you choose, the exterior paint is complimented with Dark Gray Metallic 18-inch wheels, a black rear inboard bumper and a black 4×4 badge on the tailgate (applicable on 4×4 models). The Tundra door badges are removed for a cleaner, minimalist look.
Similar treatment can be found inside the cabin, where black accents replace smoked silver ones. The Tundra in America is powered by a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine with 290 kW (389 bhp/394 metric hp) and 649 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. A hybrid powertrain is also available, but not on the SR5 grades. Read more here.
