With Wagoneer L models, you don’t need to hire a moving company.
The new Jeep Wagoneer (WS) is already a ridiculously large vehicle measuring nearly 5.5 metres long (214.7-inches); after all, it is based on the RAM 1500 pickup truck platform. But apparently, there are a few people who find that length to be insufficient, and for these people, Jeep is offering long-wheelbase Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L, which add 12-inches in overall length (226.7-inches) and 7-inches of wheelbase (130-inches).
The extended L models offer an overall passenger volume of 179.3 cu.ft. (5,077 litres) on Wagoneer L, second-row legroom of 42.7-inches on Wagoneer L, third-row legroom of 36.6-inches on both L models, 44.2 cu.ft. (1,252 litres) of cargo space behind the third row on Grand Wagoneer L—which is 15.8 cu.ft. (447 litres) more than in the standard-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer, and a towing capacity of 10,000 lbs (4,536 kg) on Wagoneer L. All of these are claimed to be the best-in-class, and I’m not sure if we can argue.
The lineup includes a new Wagoneer Carbide trim, available on standard-wheelbase Wagoneer and Wagoneer L models, starting in the second half of 2022. Exterior enhancements include Black Onyx grille rings with gloss black grille texture; Diamond Black lower front & rear fascia and door flares; gloss black roof rack, badges, wheels, daylight opening moldings and headlamp, mirror and sill cladding appliques, and a panoramic tri-pane sunroof. Inside, the Carbide features a new technical hydrographic dash trim; a black headliner; Smoke accent stitching, and Global Black seats, dashboard and doors.

The Wagoneer L models are powered by the new 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo straight-six petrol engine that offers 313 kW (420 bhp/425.5 metric hp) and 634.5 Nm (468 lb-ft) in the Wagoneer L and 380.5 kW (510 bhp/517 metric hp) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) in the Grand Wagoneer L. Transmission remains to be an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic.
For the 2022 model year, a special run of Hurricane twin-turbo 510 will be available on standard-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer as well.
Available 4×4 systems include Quadra-Trac I (full-time 4WD), Quadra-Trac II (with two-speed transfer case) and Quadra-Drive II (with a rear electronic limited slip differential). Options also include Quadra-Lift air suspension.
