Jeep has launched the 2022 Compass Trailhawk in India, priced at INR 30.72 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. The new Compass Trailhawk is based on the 2021 Compass facelift that was launched in January 2021.
Although the regular Compass offers a 4×4 variant, the Compass Trailhawk is the ultimate off-roader in the lineup with a 1-inch factory lift for up to 8.6-inches of ground clearance; water fording up to 19-inches; high-strength steel skid plates; signature red front and rear tow hooks, and 17-inch aluminum rims wrapped with rugged all-season tires. The Trailhawk also comes with an exclusive Selec-Terrain Rock mode (in addition to Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud modes). And thanks to the model-specific bumpers, the Trailhawk boasts better approach and departure angles compared with the regular Compass 4×4.
Since the Compass Trailhawk is the range-topping model in the lineup, you get all the range-topping features inside, including a 10.1-inch central touchscreen with navigation and voice commands; a 9-speaker audio system; a 360-degree camera, and a lot more.
The Compass Trailhawk in India is powered by the same powertrain as the outgoing model. Speaking of which, it’s a 2.0-litre (1956 cc) 4-cylinder Multijet II turbo diesel engine with 125 kW (170 metric hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
