The 6th gen Ford Bronco lineup continues to grow with the addition of the Bronco Everglades special edition, with prices starting at $53,000 ($1,495 destination & delivery charges extra). Order books will open in March, and apparently, the special edition is exclusively available for existing Bronco reservation holders. It is kinda like Bugatti selling Divo exclusively to existing Chiron owners.
But anyway, as you might know, the name ‘Everglades’ comes from a unique swampy region in Florida. The Bronco Everglades, however, builds on the Sasquatch Package with a Warn Zeon 10-S winch—rated at 10,000 lbs (4,536 kg) and a factory-installed snorkel. The Sasquatch Package here gets you 17-inch Carbonized Gray-painted alloy wheels shod with 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires, and HOSS 2.0 suspension setup.
The Bronco Everglades also comes standard with a protective safari bar, rock rails and the same steel bash plates found on Black Diamond and Badlands Bronco models. In addition, the front & rear axles, transfer case and transmission feature raised vents for an overall improved water fording of up to 36.4-inches.
Inside, the Bronco Everglades features standard marine-grade vinyl seats, washable rubberized flooring, and Urban Green accents on grab handles and air vents. A 12-inch SYNC 4 system also comes standard.
The 2022 Bronco Everglades will be available in five exterior colors, including Everglades-exclusive Desert Sand, plus Eruption Green, Area 51, Shadow Black and Cactus Gray.
It packs a 2.3-litre 4-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine with 224 kW (304.5 metric hp/300 bhp) and 441 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an advanced 4×4 system with a maximum 67.8:1 crawl ratio.
