Premium is the new base model.

Apparently, 2021 was a pretty good year for Audi India, and to celebrate the successful year in the country, the company has introduced a ‘Premium’ trim of the A4 facelift, with prices starting at INR 39.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. The Premium trim is now the new base model –

Compared with the original launch (Jan 2021) prices, the Premium Plus and Technology prices have gone up by INR 1,35,000 and INR 94,000, respectively.

But anyway, key highlights of the A4 Premium include LED headlights with signature running lights, LED rear combination lights, sunroof, heated exterior mirrors, a 10.1-inch central touchscreen, Audi sound system, wireless smartphone charging, single-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, 4-way lumbar support for front seats, single color ambient lighting, a rearview camera, and safety equipment such as 6 airbags and auto anti-glare IRVM.

The Audi A4 since its launch in January has garnered great response, this is a car that has historically been a volume seller for the brand. Powering the A4 Sedan in India is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine combined with a 12-volt mild-hybrid system. The engine develops 140 kW (190 metric hp) between 4,200 and 6,000 rpm and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque between 1,450 and 4,200 rpm. A 7-speed S tronic gearbox drives the front wheels. A 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is dispatched in 7.3 seconds.
