Bengaluru-based shared mobility start-up Bounce has launched the Infinity E1 electric scooter, with prices starting at INR 68,999, ex-showroom, Delhi. The e-scooter can be booked online at Bounce’s official website for INR 499. One of the highlights of the e-scooter is its swappable battery pack, which means the buyers can purchase only the scooter for INR 45,099 in Delhi and opt for a Battery-as-a-Service monthly subscription starting at INR 849 in Delhi.
The Infinity E1 is available in five colors: red, white, gray, silver and black. Features include an LED headlight, a digital instrument display, disc brakes, Regenerative Braking System, two riding modes (Power and Eco), and a reverse mode as well. The motor offers an output of 1.5 kW (2 metric hp) and 85 Nm (63 lb-ft) of torque. Bounce claims a top speed of 65 km/h (40 mph).
The battery pack is of a 2 kWh capacity and is claimed to be waterproof. It can be recharged at home as well, which is claimed to take about 4 hours to get to 100%. Bounce plans to set up 3,500 swapping stations in collaboration with Park+. The company hopes to commence deliveries by March 2022.
