Benelli—which has been under Chinese ownership since 2005, appears to be in good health. At this year’s EICMA show in Milan, the Italian marque has taken the wraps off the TRK 800 adventure motorcycle—which will join the other TRK models in Benelli’s Touring lineup sometime in the first half of 2022.
I think the TRK 800 sports an even more aggressive styling compared with TRK 251 and TRK 502 models. The paint scheme in this example is kinda KTM-ish. But anyway, features include full-LED headlights; a 7-inch TFT instrument display; adjustable Marzocchi front fork; a rear monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability; 320 mm front discs gripped by Brembo calipers; 19-inch front wheel, and a fairly large 21-litre fuel tank.
The TRK 800 is powered by a 754 cc parallel-twin engine with 56 kW (76 metric hp) and 67 Nm (49 lb-ft) of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slipper clutch. Dry weight is claimed to be 226 kg (498 lbs).
