I was about to write something like “Mansory’s latest victim is Aston Martin DBX..”, but then I thought this riced-up DBX doesn’t look too bad, I mean by Mansory’s standards, of course. And so, let’s take a brief look at what Mansory has done to the DBX.
And what Mansory has done is, it has given the DBX a generous amount of forged carbon add-on parts, of which some may seem unnecessary—like another wing over that upswept tailgate, but Mansory itself is unnecessary anyway. The Black Metallic paintwork is subtly contrasted with Lime Green accents/stripes. The crossover rides on gigantic 24-inch wheels. Mansory didn’t share what it has done to the suspension setup, but it certainly looks like the ride height has been lowered.
Inside, the riced-up DBX features generous Lime Green accents, such as on the steering wheel, dashboard, centre console, floor mats, and of course, on the seat surfaces as well.
As for the performance upgrades, the AMG-sourced 4.0L V8 biturbo gets larger turbochargers, which when combined with a new engine management system, a sports air filter and a high-performance exhaust system, the output figures increase from 550 metric hp to 800 metric hp and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) to 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). Mansory claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
