It was a sad day for automotive enthusiasts in Bengaluru yesterday, as the Maserati showroom in the city decided to pack up. The outlet was opened in all glitz and glamour on Nov 2015, and was brought to the city by Jubilant AutoWorks who also run Audi dealerships. It was one of the only 3 dealerships in the country, and was intended to cater to all southern states.

A phone call to Jubilant was picked by what seemed to be a security guard who said “yes” upon asking if the showroom got closed. An email went unanswered at the time of publishing this story.
Soon after its launch, the showroom became major attraction for all the enthusiasts, and although nobody was allowed inside, motorists would stop by to admire these Italian beauties. The showroom added elegance not just to the road, but also to the city. The Maserati logo stood proud on the MG Road and hopefully, it’ll come back soon.
