MINI has launched the Anniversary Edition for the U.S. market, priced at $39,900 (excludes $850 destination and handling charges). The Anniversary Edition was globally revealed a couple of months ago to celebrate John Cooper’s 98th birthday and 60 years of collaboration with the Cooper family.
The Anniversary Edition in America will be available in a Hardtop 2 Door variant, but unlike other markets which get multiple paint options, the American cars will be finished exclusively in a classic British Racing Green, complemented with white bonnet stripes, red outlines, and of course, retro Cooper Car Company logos. The number 74 adorns the hood and the doors; that number is a tribute to the classic Mini Cooper’s first race, where the vehicle was given the number 74. Read more here.
