Ola Electric Mobility has launched its first scooter in India, available in two variants: S1 and S1 Pro, priced at INR 99,999 and INR 129,999, respectively. The prices are ex-showroom and include GST and FAME II subsidy, but excludes any state EV subsidies. In Delhi for example, the ex-showroom price for both variants would be INR 85,099 and INR 110,149, respectively. Ola is currently accepting only reservations for INR 499, with actual purchase commencing from September 2021 and deliveries in October 2021, which is not too far anyway.
The scooter features a clean, minimalistic and fluidic design which should help with aerodynamic efficiency. The Ola S1 comes in five colors, while the S1 Pro offers five more. Other highlights include LED lighting, alloy wheels, disc brakes, rear monoshock suspension, and 36-litres of under-seat storage—claimed to be the largest in its segment.

The official top speed figures are 90 km/h (56 mph) and 115 km/h (71 mph), respectively.
