French startup DAB Motors has revealed the Concept-E electric motorcycle designed in collaboration with the design consultancy firm Outercraft. As the name suggests, it’s a concept that imagines a futuristic electric motorcycle. Interestingly, DAB’s first product is a 500 cc ICE-powered motorcycle named LM-S.

The Concept-E too follows a similar, minimalistic theme with a thin, rounded-rectangular-panel for the LED running light, and LED speedometer; you can literally count the number of LEDs in the speedometer. That black panel upon which the speedometer sits, is actually a lid for a small storage. The main headlight is sort of “hidden” between the front fork. The motorcycle uses carbon fibre for the frame and swingarm. Other features include bespoke Öhlins suspension, Beringer aluminium brakes, and Gates belt drive with aluminium pulleys. The saddle is made from Ripstop, which as the name suggests, is resistant to tearing and ripping.

The Concept-E is powered by a 10 kW (13.6 metric hp) electric motor juiced by a 4.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. No further details are available yet. In the meantime, you can watch a short video clip embedded below, which offers a better look at the motorcycle.
