BMW has launched the X1 20i Tech Edition in India, priced at INR 43,00,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. The Tech Edition is the range-topping petrol variant in the country with some additional features.

The Tech Edition rides on exclusive 18-inch M light-alloy wheels in a Y-spoke design. As for the exterior paint, there are only two options: Alpine White and Phytonic Blue (metallic). But don’t be disappointed because as the name suggests, the Tech Edition is all about exclusive technology inside, which includes a larger 10.25-inch central touchscreen, a head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, and a 7-speaker audio system. The X1 petrol is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 141 kW (192 metric hp) and 280 Nm (206.5 lb-ft) of torque. A 7-speed DCT drives the front wheels. That’s right, there are no AWD options for X1 in India.
