Koenigsegg has revealed the “pre-series production car” of the Jesko hypercar that debuted at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Although Koenigsegg classifies this as a “pre-series” car, you can consider this as a final, real deal. The car is painted in Tang Orange Pearl with subtle silver accents, as a homage to the Koenigsegg CCR color palette. The exposed carbon fibre elements add the necessary contrast.
Besides the bright paintwork, visually, the production model doesn’t look any different compared to the original 2019 prototype, which is, of course, a good thing. All the elements including the large front splitter, the dive planes, the large bonnet vent, the massive side intakes next to the door, and the active double-profile rear wing, have been retained.

The Jesko is being put through its final rounds of shakedowns in order to fine-tune its active aero, triplex dampers and patented Light Speed Transmission (LST). Factory driver Markus Lundh had the following to say —
The Jesko feels very natural to drive. Because of its seamless shifting, whether up or down, everything just happens much faster. There are no delays, it is very responsive and behaves exactly the way you want it to. For a car of its size and power, it is very agile in the way it reacts to steering and does not spin out even with sudden movements at full throttle.
As Christian mentioned, only 125 units will be built and most of them, if not all, are already been spoken for. The first customer cars are slated for delivery in spring 2022. The Jesko is powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a flat-plane crankshaft, developing 955 kW (1,280 bhp) on regular gasoline and 1,193 kW (1,600 bhp) on E85. Read more here.
