Riverside California residents Glenn and Gigi Moss recently celebrated their 40th anniversary with a bespoke duo of Rolls-Royce commissions. Although the couple didn’t go full bespoke like the Boat Tail, the Phantom Tempus and the Dawn Black Badge are fairly bespoke in their own right, as with most bespoke Rolls-Royces out there.
The cars feature discreet markings that signify the time and place the couple met and also the time and place they wed. The Spirit of Ecstasy on the Phantom Tempus is made of solid silver, with the location and date the couple first met in 1976 engraved into the base of the statuette. Additionally, latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates mark the precise location. The carbon fibre Spirit of Ecstasy on the Dawn Black Badge carries the date and location the couple wed in 1981.
The One of 20 Phantom Tempus is finished in a bright Arctic White with crystalline touches, complemented by a hand-painted black coachline. The interior features Arctic White leather with black piping and contrast stitching, and piano black inserts and lots of glitter to reminisce the dark, night sky and constellations. The Dawn Black Badge on the other side is finished in a Bright Red color, which stands in stark contrast to the bright white Phantom Tempus. The car is also equipped with a bespoke Aero Cowling (also known as buttresses). Those rims are created using 22 layers of carbon fibre. The cabin is finished in full natural grain leather with black highlights and piping.
