Jawa Motorcycles has launched the Jawa Special Edition to commemorate 50 years of India’s 1971 war victory over Pakistan. The motorcycle is available in two paint schemes: Khakhee and Midnight Grey, both priced at INR 1,93,357, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The armed forces-inspired paint schemes are complemented with special decals on the fuel tank featuring an Indian Army crest over a tri-color stripe. The rest of the things are the same as the classic Jawa.
The motorcycle is powered by a 293 cc single-cylinder engine that develops 27 metric hp and 27 Nm (20 lb-ft) of torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Braking duties are handled by discs at both ends. ABS comes standard.
