Black Vermilion sounds like some exotic fruit.
BMW has revealed three limited edition SUVs — X5 and X6 Black Vermilion editions and X7 in Frozen Black metallic, with prices in Germany starting at €93,200, €100,700 and €108,700, respectively (with each including 19% VAT).
Black and red are such a popular combination for cars, and so, the Black Vermilion editions take advantage of this color combo by fully drenching the cars in matt black and painting the vertical bars of the kidney grille in a contrasting red. Also included are BMW laser lights from the Shadow Line package with blue highlights. Both cars ride on 22-inch light-alloy wheels in Orbit Grey matt, wrapped with mixed-size tyres. M Sport brake calipers painted in high-gloss red round off the exterior looks.
The dark theme continues inside with Merino Black leather upholstery with contrast red highlights, M Alcantara Anthracite roofliner, edition logo on a piano black finished cupholder cover, and inlays in a combination of Fineline Black wood and aluminium. Also, notice the glass application on the gear selector. In addition, the rear windows get deeper tinting over the sun-protective glass.
As for the X7 Frozen Black, as the name suggests, it gets completely drenched in Frozen Black metallic paint, combined with the M Sport Package and high-gloss Shadow Line elements. The SUV rides on edition-specific 22-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels in Orbit Grey matt, hiding the calipers that are also in black. The interior would get M Alcantara Anthracite roofliner, glass applications, and sun-protective windows.
No mechanical changes; all three SUVs are available with all the powertrains the regular ones offer.
