A week after launching the regular 5 Series facelift models in India, BMW has added the M5 Competition facelift to its India portfolio, priced at INR 1,61,90,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. Unlike the locally-assembled regular 5 Series models, the M5 Competition is being imported to India as a completely built-up unit (CBU), which explains that fat price tag.
The M5 Competition facelift made its global debut in June 2020, with styling updates in line with the regular 5 Series facelift. Highlights of the car include 20-inch M light-alloy wheels, M Compound brakes, recalibrated dampers, active M differential, and more.
The M5 Competition continues to be powered by a 4.4-litre biturbo V8 motor that develops 460 kW (625 metric hp) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. BMW claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 3.3 seconds. Read more about the car and check out more pictures here.
