MINI has launched the updated 3-door Hatch and Convertible facelifts in India, with prices starting at INR 38 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India. The range also includes the John Cooper Works variant.

The updated Mini Cooper lineup was revealed earlier this year with subtle styling tweaks, new colors and onboard technology. Read here. The JCW variant followed a couple of months later.
Feature list includes LED headlights, 17-inch wheels (JCW gets an 18-inch option for INR 70,000), an 8-inch central touchscreen, optional 5-inch instrument display, optional Harman Kardon audio system, and safety systems such as airbags, ABS, Cornering Brake Control, Run-flat tyres and more. Adaptive Suspension costs INR 85,000 more.
Both the Hatch and Convertible are powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 141 kW (192 metric hp) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT.
The JCW is also powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, but here, it offers 170 kW (231 metric hp) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, which is good for a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 6.1 seconds. The transmission here is an 8-speed Steptronic Sport.
