Besides the A6 e-tron concept, Audi’s product showcase for 2021 Auto Shanghai includes the A7L. The A7L is, of course, a long-wheelbase version of the A7, and is exclusive to the Chinese market.
There are no changes in styling compared to the regular A7 models, however, the A7L gets a new set of stylish-looking wheels which I think looks perfect for this long-wheelbase model. The feature list includes adaptive air suspension, rear-wheel steering and the quattro permanent AWD system. It is unclear if the extra wheelbase is available on the S7 and RS 7 too.
The A7L boasts an additional 76 mm wheelbase. The A7 in China is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, offered in 40 TFSI and 45 TFSI tunes: 140 kW (190 metric hp) and 180 kW (245 metric hp), respectively. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT. However, the A7L is rocking a 55 TFSI badge, suggesting a 3.0L V6 under the hood.
