As you might be aware, Suzuki is busy baking a long wheelbase version of the highly-acclaimed 4th gen Jimny. A test mule was spotted somewhere in southern Europe recently, which clearly showcased its long wheelbase. Suzuki has not officially shared any details on this new Jimny yet, but an online report claims to know something.
This specifications sheet purported to be belonging to the long wheelbase Jimny, mentions the vehicle dimensions to be 3,850 mm long (+205 mm), 1,645 mm wide and 1,730 mm tall. It gets an additional 300 mm wheelbase (2,550 mm).
Also, if this spec sheet has to be believed, the long wheelbase Jimny will be powered by the same 1.5-litre 4-cylinder K15B engine with the same 102 metric hp and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) tune. The engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The kerb weight is claimed to be 1,190 kg (2,623.5 lbs), which is ~150 kg (330 lbs) more than the regular Jimny.
