BMW has launched the updated 6 Series Gran Turismo in India, with prices starting at INR 67.90 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. The car is being locally assembled at the BMW Group plant in Chennai.

The 6 Series GT facelift made its global debut almost a year ago. For the Indian market, there’s one petrol and two diesel trims on offer.
Features depending on the trim include BMW Laserlight with a throw of up to 650 metres, 19-inch M light-alloy wheels, M Aerodynamics package, and a panoramic glass roof.
Features in the cabin include BMW Live Cockpit Professional, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound system, Rear-Seat Entertainment Professional, and safety equipment such as airbags, Dynamic Stability Control, Tyre Pressure Indicator and a few more.

The 630i M Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,998 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that pumps out 190 kW (258 metric hp) at 5,000 rpm and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque between 1,550-4,400 rpm.
The 620d is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,995 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that develops 140 kW (190 metric hp) at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque between 1,750-2,500. The 630d is powered by a 3.0-litre (2,993 cc) in-line 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 195 kW (265 metric hp) at 4,000 rpm and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque between 2,000-2,500 rpm on offer.
All three engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that drives the rear wheels.
