After McLaren 765LT, Novitec has picked up the Ferrari 812 GTS to add its own subtle visual touches and a power upgrade as well. Just to remind, the 812 GTS made its debut in September 2019 as the open-top version of the 812 Superfast.
On the exterior, the car gets carbon fibre aerodynamic components including a front lip spoiler, flaps for the side outlets, rocker panels, a three-piece rear spoiler lip, and diffuser inserts at the rear. As always, the forged wheels come from Vossen, measuring 21-inch at the front and 22-inch at the rear, wrapped with high-performance tires of size 275/30 and 335/25, respectively.
The sport springs lower the ride height by about 35 mm. The front end can be raised at the touch of a button in the cockpit by about 40 mm and lowers again at another touch of the button or automatically upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h (50 mph).
The 6.5-litre (6,496 cc) naturally-aspirated V12 in combination with Novitec’s High Performance exhaust system develops 618 kW (840 metric hp) at 8,750 rpm and a peak torque of 751 Nm (554 lb-ft) at 7,300 rpm, which are 40 hp and 33 Nm (24.3 lb-ft) more compared to the stock tune. Novitec claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 345 km/h (214 mph).
Buyers can also opt for an Inconel exhaust system which is claimed to save 11 kg (24.2 lbs) over the production system.
