Kia has revealed the exterior design of the K8 fastback sedan, the first model after the company rebranded itself with a new logo. The K8 will be the successor to the K7, which was sold as Cadenza in markets outside Korea.
The 5,015 mm long sedan sports the brand’s updated design language with a frameless ‘tiger nose’ grille with diamond lattice pattern. The massive grille might remind you of some of Hyundai’s latest models.
The rest of the car looks fairly elegant and the car looks its best from the rear-three quarter angle. There’s a weird chrome triangle on the rear quarter window, which I think is unnecessary; the car would probably look much better without it. At the rear, the taillight design is similar to those on the Santa Fe.
The K8 is scheduled to go on sale in Korea later this year. More info will be available closer to the launch date.
