MG Motor India has added a CVT (automatic) variant to the 2021 Hector lineup, priced at INR 16,51,800, ex-showroom, Delhi. The CVT option will be available on both the 5-seater and Hector Plus models.
The CVT is paired with the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The engine’s output figures don’t appear to have been limited for CVT as the brochure mentions the same 143 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Since there are no actual gears, the CVT offers 8 simulated shifts. And yes, the petrol DCT option continues to exist alongside.
