Passive safety includes front, front side, front knee and 3-row side curtain airbags. If that’s not enough to convince you, the Odyssey has earned IIHS’ Top Safety Pick+ rating.
Powering the Odyssey is a 3.5-litre (3,471 cc) V6 naturally aspirated gasoline engine that develops 209 kW (284 metric hp) at 6,000 rpm and 355 Nm (262 lb-ft) of torque at 4,700 rpm. A 10-speed automatic gearbox drives the front wheels.
The minivan is exclusively built at Honda’s plant in Lincoln, Alabama. Its V6 engine is also manufactured in Alabama, while the gearbox is manufactured exclusively at Honda’s Tallapoosa facility.
