For the first time in the show’s history, the SEMA Show is not happening in Las Vegas this year, for obvious reasons. Instead, it’ll happen online and is called SEMA360. Toyota has revealed its lineup for the show, which includes the 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine Overland-Ready Tacoma, GReddy Performance GR Supra, Papadakis Racing GR Supra and Ornamental Conifer GR Supra.
The Overland-Ready Tacoma is created by the 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine. The editors started with a Tacoma TRD Pro, teaming up with Ryan O’Connell and ShmellFab to create this build. Off-road upgrades include: ToyTec BOSS Aluma 2.5 Series coil-overs, shocks and add-a-leaf package; Toyota E-locker locking differential; CBI Offroad Fabrication lower control arms, front to rear aluminum and steel skid plates, and DOM steel tube rock sliders with top plates and CBI’s ‘kickout’ design; Camburg Engineering upper control arms, and MaxTrax MKII traction boards.
The adventure truck rides on 16-inch matt black Method Race wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tyres. Other components include a Seal Gen2 winch; CBI Offroad Fabrication Prinsu Cab Rack (aluminum) fitted with a 40-inch light bar; a Truck Covers USA locking cargo bed cover and rack system, and a Yakima SkyLine bed rack.
On the power side, the team added a Magnuson Superchargers Roots-type TVS1900 blower, increasing the output to 370 bhp and 447 Nm (330 lb-ft) of torque.
The Ornamental Conifer GR Supra features hand-painted artwork by British artist Nicolai Sclater. His canvas was a 2021 GR Supra 3.0 Premium in Turbulence Gray. He conceptualized a design featuring bold graphics and expressions like ‘True to Form’ and ‘Lightning Response’ as nods to past and present Supra attributes.
The GReddy Performance GR Supra is a drifter, built by Ken Gushi Motorsports and GReddy Performance. It features a modified 3.0L in-line 6-cylinder engine fitted with a BorgWarner EFR 9280 turbocharger. The engine is paired with a Samsonas 6-speed sequential gearbox. A Sean Adriano Racing exhaust system sings a sweet, if not sonorous, song.
Other modifications include relocating the radiator to the rear for improved cooling and balance, and replacing the factory fuel tank with a 10-gallon Radium Engineering Fuel Cell.
The Papadakis Racing GR Supra is also a drifter featuring a number of modifications. The B58 powerplant here pumps out 1,033 bhp and 1,231 Nm (908 lb-ft) of torque!
The long list of upgrades includes a BorgWarner EFR 9280 turbocharger with dual TiAL Sport MV-R 44 mm wastegates; AEM fuel pumps, fuel regulator, filter; AEM CD-7 dash; Injector Dynamics fuel injectors; BC forged steel connecting rods; custom 11-to-1 compression pistons from JE Pistons; Supertech Performance valvetrain; Kelford Cams exhaust cam; Mountune 3D printed aluminum intake manifold; and a Full Race turbo manifold.
