Ford India will launch the much awaited pony car the Mustang on July 13th. Few units were imported couple of months ago for homologation-testing purposes, and now the stage seems to be all set for the launch.
Unveiled in India at Auto Expo earlier this year, the launch event of the sixth generation Mustang will be held at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. Ford Mustang for India will be available only as a Fastback version, and will be brought to India via CBU route.
Powering the Mustang is a 5.0 litre V8 engine producing 435 hp and 542 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 6 Speed automatic transmission.
Few key features of the Ford Mustang include different driving modes, SYNC 2 with Voice Control and 8 inch Touchscreen infotainment system, steering feel modes, cruise control, hill start assist, Electronic Line-Lock, ESC, ESP, traction control, automatic rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and so on.
No Convertible for India. Only Fastback GT.
