Ford showcased a one-off Bronco OG Concept at this year’s Bronco Super Celebration East in Townsend, Tennessee. It is based on the 2021 Bronco 4-door Badlands trim finished in Area 51 color, plus, it is equipped with the Sasquatch package for maximum off-road capability.
The ‘OG’ stands for “off-the-grid”, in case you’re wondering. The concept rides on 17-inch Fifteen52 Turbomatic HD wheels finished in asphalt black, wrapped with 35-inch BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain KM3 tyres. Its off-road credentials also include the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.). Powering the concept is a 2.7-litre EcoBoost engine paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
Accessories included are a WARN winch mounted on a modular front bumper, a Heavy Duty two-person tent from Yakima, a factory roof rack, a Rigid lightbar, and 6 additional Rigid Pod lights. The rear cargo area gets a food storage system and tools for dining. A water tank, ARB refrigerator, cooking kit and a stove have been mounted to a cargo management system. The refrigerator has a slide-out tray for easy access and a tailgate table and chairs round off the OG concept.
