Mercedes-Benz is adding a Stealth Edition for the AMG GT 2-door models for the North American market. The AMG GT Coupe and Roadster will arrive at U.S. dealers in early 2021.
The Stealth Edition comprises AMG Night Package with Panamericana grille in dark chrome, smoked headlights, black calipers, and matte black Y-spoke wheels (19-inch front, 20-inch rear) shod with mixed-size tires. The Coupe gets a carbon fibre roof as well. Both models are painted with black as standard, while obsidian black metallic, selenite grey metallic or designo graphite grey magno are available in the options list.
The cockpit too embraces the darkness with the Night Package. Materials used include Dinamica microfibre, Nappa leather in black with diamond quilting, and piano black accents (or, carbon fibre as an option).
It’s not all visual upgrades though. The 4.0L V8 twin-turbo motor pumps out 530 metric hp (390 kW) and 670 Nm (494 lb-ft) of torque, which is about 54 hp and 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) more than the regular GT. A 0-60 mph (97 km/h) sprint is estimated to happen in 3.7 seconds. The Coupe claims a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph) while the Roadster can do just over 310 km/h (193 mph).
