Ram Trucks has announced the Heavy Duty Limited Black Edition, available on Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks’ Limited trims. As the name suggests, it gets black exterior accents, matte black badging and black aluminum wheels.
The black accents include the grille with R-A-M letters, door handles, side-view trailer tow mirrors, tow hooks, and headlight & taillight bezels. Single rear-wheel (SRW) models come standard with 20-inch black aluminum wheels while the dual rear-wheel (DRW) models feature 17-inch black wheels with machined eyelets.
The interior too features a dark theme. Technologies inside include a Uconnect 12-inch touchscreen that’ll offer SiriusXM’s new ‘Personalized Stations Powered by Pandora’.
The Ram Heavy Duty Limited Black Edition is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations and with 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine (306 kW/416 hp, 582 Nm/429 lb-ft) or 6.7-litre straight-six Cummins turbo diesel engine in two states of tune — a higher tune with 1,356 Nm (1,000 lb-ft) of torque is exclusive to the Ram 3500.
The Ram Heavy Duty Limited Black Edition carries an MSRP of $62,745 and will reach dealerships in the third quarter of 2020.
