Honda Cars India (HCIL) has launched the 5th generation City (7th generation globally) in the country with prices starting at Rs 10.90 lakh, ex-showroom. Variant wise ex-showroom prices below –

Depending on the trim, exterior features for the Indian market include full LED headlights with an array of 9 LEDs, LED taillight signature, an electric sunroof, and 16-inch two-tone Diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Features inside would include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, auto AC, 8-speaker audio system, tilt & telescopic steering adjustment, and cruise control.
As for connected car technologies, the new City features Alexa Remote Capability with several functions including setting the temperature and locking/unlocking doors via voice command. Download the brochure here.
Safety equipment includes 6 airbags, Lanewatch Camera, Multi-Angle Rear Camera, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
The new City can be had with either a 1.5L petrol or 1.5L diesel engine. The 1.5-litre (1,498 cc) 4-cylinder petrol engine develops 89 kW (121 hp) at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm (107 lb-ft) of torque at 4,300 rpm, and is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The 1.5-litre (1,498 cc) 4-cylinder diesel engine offers 73 kW (99 hp) at 3,600 rpm and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque at 1,750 rpm. The diesel engine is available only with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Buyers can choose from 5 exterior colours – Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic.
