The 1.0L engine is now available in the mid-range RXL trim of the Renault Kwid facelift, priced at Rs 4.16 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 4.48 lakh for the AMT. Renault also shared that the Kwid has crossed the 350,000 sales milestone in India and is the company’s volume driver in the country.
Some of the features of the RXL trim includes a manual AC, electric power steering, front power windows, an audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, USB & aux-in ports, a 12V power outlet, keyless entry with central locking, a driver airbag, driver & front passenger seat belt reminder, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors. The BS6-compliant 1.0-litre (999 cc) 3-cylinder petrol engine develops 68 hp at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm (67 lb-ft) of torque at 4,250 rpm. Transmission is a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
