The latest company to join the micromobility business is Skoda. The company has revealed a foldable scooter that can be stowed under the boot floor of the Kamiq and Scala models.
When folded, the scooter neatly fits into the spare wheel well under the boot floor of the aforementioned two models if they are equipped with a breakdown kit.
The scooter features rubber grips on the handlebar, which are claimed to offer excellent support during errands. Made of steel and aluminium, the Skoda scooter weighs about 4.8 kg (10.5 lbs) and is claimed to be capable of carrying up to 100 kg (220 lbs).
Just to clarify, it’s not an e-scooter. The Skoda scooter is currently available online in Czech Republic, priced at 2,968 CZK ($118 or INR 9,000).
