Harley-Davidson has added the new Low Rider S to its India portfolio, priced at Rs 14,69,000 ex-showroom, Pan India. The motorcycle belongs to the company’s ‘Softail’ family that also includes the Fat Boy.

“We’ve applied that coastal style and performance-first attitude to the Softail chassis to create a Low Rider S that’s more powerful and agile than ever, with a heavy dose of tough-as-nails attitude,” Richards added.
Features include motocross-style handlebar, color-matched mini-fairing, LED layback taillamp with smoked lens, cast-aluminum wheels (19-inch front and 16-inch rear) with Matte Dark Bronze finish.
The powertrain, primary cover and tank console are finished in Wrinkle Black; the derby cover, intake, and lower rocker covers are Gloss Black. Mufflers and exhaust shields are Jet Black. Forks, triple-clamp, riser and handlebar, and rear fender supports are Matte Black.
Two solid color options are available: Vivid Black and Barracuda Silver.
Suspension duties are handled by 43 mm inverted fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The fork rake is reduced to 28-degrees from the 30-degree rake of the standard Low Rider. Front discs measure 300 mm. ABS is standard.
The new Low Rider S is powered by a 1,868 cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine, producing 93 hp at 5,020 rpm and 155 Nm of torque at 3,250 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission.
