The Ferrari SUV might take some more time to arrive, but for those who don’t like to wait, Novitec has a solution. It’s called the ‘Esteso’, a widebody Maserati Levante with a performance upgrade.

Compared to the previous Esteso that Novitec created, this one looks a lot more tasteful. It measures 2.09 metres in width – 10 cm more than the production car at the front and 12 cm more at the rear. The rocker panels give the SUV a crouched and sleeker visual stance. As before, all the components for this conversion are manufactured from PUR-Rim. Buyers can opt for naked carbon rear spoiler and the hood scoop.

The flared wheel arches house 22-inch wheels with a centre lock. They are shod with tires of size 295/30 at the front and 335/25 on the rear axle. The Novitec control module for the standard air suspension lowers the ride height by about 25 mm.

Thanks to the N-Tronic plug-and-play module, the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 in the Trofeo gets an additional 44 hp and 90 Nm, to a total of 459 kW (624 metric hp) at 7,700 rpm and a peak torque of 820 Nm between 2,200-3,400 rpm. The tuned Levante is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 309 km/h.

The modules are available for other engine variants too. More details here. The plug-and-play module for the standard electronic Active Sound System injects more fun into the diesel models.
