Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo debuts in Monte Carlo

The World Finals of the 2019 Gran Turismo Championships took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco. As part of the event, Lamborghini unveiled the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo in the form of a real model. The virtual hypercar will be available for Sony PlayStation 4 from spring 2020.

Produced by the Lamborghini Centro Stile team under the guidance of Mitja Borkert, the Lambo V12 Vision GT borrows some of its design cues from Terzo Millennio and even the Egoista. The hexagon-ish side windows are apparently inspired by the Marzal concept of 1967.

Interestingly, the steering wheel is attached to the canopy door. The single-seater hypercar in its virtual form uses the powertrain from the Sián FKP 37. Meaning, there’s some kind of a hybrid technology going on in the virtual world with a total system output exceeding 800 hp. Assuming the Vision GT weighs significantly less than the FKP 37, the performance can be expected to be similar to that of an F1 car.

It looks incredible, isn’t it? Now it doesn’t matter if the Cybertruck doesn’t look anything like a Tesla before, as long as the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo looks just the way a Lamborghini should look.
