After the 2020 NX Black Line, Lexus is getting the Black Line Special Edition for the IS F Sport models, available in both RWD and AWD variants.
Exterior features include a black chrome front grille surround, black exterior mirrors, and 18-inch split-spoke wheels with a black vapor chrome finish. The IS F Sport Blackline Special Edition will be available in three exterior colors – Obsidian, Ultra White, and Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0.
The dark theme continues into the interiors with exclusive black-and-gray seats accented with Indigo Blue stitching, Indigo Blue accents on the steering wheel, on the door switch panels and glove box.
Each IS 300 F Sport and IS 350 F Sport Blackline Special Edition will come equipped with triple-beam LED headlamps, Navigation System, and Blind Spot Monitor. For 2020, the Special Edition models also come standard with the SmartAccess card key.
RWD versions of the IS 300 Blackline Special Edition are powered by a 241 hp 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The AWD variants pack a 260 hp 3.5-litre V6, paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Both RWD and AWD IS 350 F Sport Blackline Special Edition models are powered by a 3.5-litre gasoline V6 that is tuned to produce 311 hp. However, the RWD model gets an 8-speed Sport Direct-Shift automatic transmission while the AWD is paired with a 6-speed automatic. Both get paddle shifters.
The IS F Sport Blackline Special Edition models will be limited to 900 units and will be available from November this year. Prices start at $45,200; excluding delivery, processing, and handling fee of $1,025.
