Aston Martin’s track-focused hypercar Valkyrie and the “Son of Valkyrie” Valhalla (also known as AM-RB 003), have been put through their paces at the British marque’s official development facility at Silverstone, UK, by Chris Goodwin, the brand’s high-performance test driver.
While the Valkyrie’s output figures were confirmed earlier this year, the Valhalla’s technical details are yet to be revealed. All we know so far is that it’ll have an in-house developed twin-turbo V6 (rumored to be a 1.6L) with hybrid bits.
Though making greater concessions to practicality and road use, Valhalla remains true to the uncompromising engineering ethos laid down by its bigger brother. Benefitting from genuine state-of-the-art F1 technology and unrivaled active aerodynamics utilizing variable morphing surfaces, Valhalla is set to deliver equally impressive levels of handling performance. Powered by a bespoke Aston Martin V6 twin-turbo engine, Aston Martin Valhalla will surpass figures shown in today’s hypercar world, underlining its own elite status.
The Valhalla is “strictly limited” to 500 coupes and Aston Martin said that they’re still handpicking the final lucky customers. As for the Valkyrie, it is already sold out with the first customer delivery scheduled for later this year.
