Hyundai India seems to have performed better compared to other carmakers in the country amidst a severe slowdown in the industry. The company sold 39,010 units in the domestic market in July 2019 compared to 43,481 units in the same period last year, registering a decline of 10%.
However, the exports of 18,300 units in July 2019 as against 16,109 units in July 2018 registered a growth of 13.6%. Naturally, the cumulative sales of 57,310 units in July 2019 saw a decline of 3.9% compared to 59,590 units sold in July 2018.
